Morrissey Engineering is an Omaha-based consulting engineering firm. We are comprised of 70 employees with 32 professional engineers registered in 38 states, providing mechanical, electrical, lighting, and technology design as well as sustainability, and alternative energy consulting for commercial construction projects.

Morrissey Engineering has been at the forefront of sustainability since our inception over 24 years ago.  We have participated in 3.5 million ENERGY STAR sq ft and 1.3 million LEED Certified sq ft at a local level (20% of all LEED certified projects in the State of Nebraska, and 100% of the projects certified within the last two years).  Our office building was the first LEED Platinum certified building in the State of Nebraska.

Morrissey Engineering is dedicated to the advancement and prosperity of the local community. With a strong commitment to growth and development, Morrissey Engineering actively engages in a wide range of community-based projects throughout Omaha and its surrounding areas. From K-12 schools to higher education institutions, local non-profits, museums, public theaters, health care facilities, worship spaces and hospitality establishments, Morrissey Engineering's expertise spans across various sectors. Our portfolio also includes commercial office spaces and tenant renovations, housing, and specialized mission critical projects such as data centers, operations centers, and collocation facilities. With a passion for delivering exceptional engineering solutions, Morrissey Engineering plays a vital role in shaping the infrastructure and future success of Omaha, its vibrant communities, and the Midwest region.

Aside from work, our team helps foster STEM development among young students, recognizing the significance of education and mentorship in shaping future engineers. At the K-12 level, we are involved in providing enriching learning opportunities within classrooms, engaging students in hands-on activities that promote an understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We also take pride in mentoring students and conducting seminars at the university level, where aspiring engineers can benefit from the firm's expertise and industry insights. The company goes beyond traditional educational settings by offering on-site job shadows, allowing aspiring engineers to gain firsthand experience and a glimpse into the daily workings of architectural engineering. Through these initiatives, Morrissey Engineering nurtures a passion for engineering and empowers individuals to pursue careers in the field, contributing to the growth and innovation of the industry.
